Why come
A show run by people who lose money on purpose
The seller grew it
Every plant on sale was raised on the exhibitor's own nursery. That rules out the wholesalers who would happily take a stand and pay us four times what a small grower can.
We take nothing on plant sales
No commission, no percentage on the till. We charge for the pitch and nothing else, so a nursery that has a good Saturday keeps the good Saturday.
Trolleys and a plant crèche, free
Leave what you have bought at the crèche and we carry it to your car at the end. It costs us eleven staff over the weekend and it is the reason people buy the big shrub.
A fifth of the floor, at most
Trade and sundries stands are capped at twenty per cent of the ground. We turn down about thirty applications a year to keep the rest of it plants.
